The PRNC sponsored its first CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) Training class spring 2013. About 50 people completed this free course and learned useful skills for preparing for and responding to earthquakes, brush fires or terrorist acts. PRNC Board Members, Bright Aregs, Sean O'Rourke, Dick Rippey and Ethan Turer completed the training this spring. Special thanks go to Board Member Pat Pope for organizing the class, to the LAFD for putting it on, to the Porter Ranch Community School for hosting it and to City Councilmember Mitchell Englander for commending the graduates.
