Current PRNC board member and past president Mel Mitchell was honored at our February 5 meeting by City Councilmember Mitchell Englander. Englander thanked Mitchell for his years of service to Porter Ranch and his role in founding the PRNC ten years ago. Since that time he led the PRNC in the effort to develop the new school, strike a balance on the Wilbur repaving challenge, and honor our firefighters after the 2008 Sesnon Fire. Mel also brought leadership to the PRNC by inviting key speakers to address issues directly with our stakeholders.
