Ventana Porter Ranch Development Company proposes to divide Lot 1 of Tract No. 54153-02-C into two parcels with 88 senior apartments on Parcel A and 310 market apartments on Parcel B. The total 398 units were previously approved on September 1, 2006 and 190 units are under construction or built. The property is located adjacent to and westerly of the project called “Tesoro” and the units built or under construction are called “Sonoma”. The lot split is required to facilitate a “separate parcel” as required by law in order to designate 88 units of the total as senior (age restricted). The senior units are intended to be moderate income as required by the Porter Ranch Development Agreement. A public hearing was held by the City of Los Angeles, October 5, 2010.
